Description

In 2014 with the help of Radio Suffolk we ran an appeal year to raise money for a Carers bus to enable us to take our services available to more Family Carers in need of information and support across Suffolk. Often, Family Carers are not able to visit our head office in Claydon so, by providing a mobile bus, we can take our services out into the community to those who in need.

The bus has been fitted out to the highest standard, at its rear it has a comfortable seating area with tea and coffee making facilities. This area can be closed off so that family carers can talk in private with an Adviser. The front half of the bus contains a library of resources and information to help support family carers in their caring role.
