Areca Palm, what is it and what can it be used for?
Our Palm leaf plates are made from fallen Areca leaves and sourced from our partner in India.
The leaves are collected washed, dried and then steam pressed to create different shapes & forms. They are sturdy, microwave safe & oven safe and suitable for food. The leaf plates are available in various shapes and sizes. These can be disposed of in your garden waste bin or simply dropped in your compost where they will decompose in around 90 days

Where are they sourced?

These plates are a natural product and thus have unique markings and striations but are fully biodegradable – this is a leaf and only a leaf, no bleaching, coatings or additives.
